THE  PERMANENT  EXPOSITION

After long 20 years, the permanent exposition was brought up to date and newly opened in September 2013. The exposition spreads on the two floors out and  is divided  into 4 sections according to refining techniques  – engraved, blown, cut and painted glass. Excepting of painted glass, each section also contains a historical  model of a relevant workshop. Exhibits at the permanent exposition represent 8 % of the whole museum collection, the rest is stored in three depositaries. The exposition, which shows development of Bohemian glass from the 18 th century up to the present, is comleted  with showcases explaining glass technology.
